Bon Voyage

Friends, on Friday night, I’ll be boarding a plane alone to meet Mr Suziwong in Berlin (He arrived in Paris at lunch time today for a week long work course) where we will spend 9 days with Miss24. Then we will both hop on an Air Berlin plane and spend two weeks in Paris. I am excited and simultaneously anxious.

I’ve left the Berlin leg unstructured and have asked Miss24 to be our tour guide…of course I asked her to take us to flea markets; that’s a given. It’s been a year since we saw her and I’m very very excited to be seeing my first-born again. On Saturday the 24th of March Mr Suziwong and I will fly back to Paris. We will arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport at around 9:30 am. We’ll head off to the apartment we have rented and then make our way to Port de Vanves where the Marche aux Puces – The Flea Market. I am so looking forward to the Port Vanves Flea Markets as I have seen pictures of the kinds of things that ring my bell, so to speak. This picture sends me into raptures – I can almost hear my wallet crying hahaha

Of course there are many other things that we will be doing while in Paris…St. Oen brocante markets in the northern suburbs of Paris, The Louvre, Le Bon Marche, Versailles, Le Tour Eiffel, Monet’s Garden etc etc I have bought fabulously soft Doc Marten boots and Ecco runners and Naot shoes to deal with the long days of walking we’ll be doing while we’re away.

I’ll be taking my iPad along with me and if time and energy permits, i’ll definitely write a blog post or two.

See you soon  😀
