Rat-a-tat-tat or Tat-a-tat-tat?

stirling German tatting shuttle

Friends, I’ve had this little lovely on Lay-by for a few weeks and I picked it up last weekend – she was the most expensive tatting shuttle I’ve ever bought. She has a pick at the end which actually works really well. The raised design is divine and the shuttle is a lovely size. She was nice to work with as well – some are not so comfortable to work with!

Whilst the lovely silver German shuttle was expensive, not all the shuttles I have were expensive. This sweet little Milward shuttle, from England was free. Brown Dawg’s breeder, Ruth, sent me this one she came across! I love it. It’s still on its original card which is quite rare. It is missing the companion mini crochet hook, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers!

I haven’t taken it from its card to test it out – I’m guessing it will be a smooth ride.

Friends, it’s a short and sweet post from me today…I figure that quality is better than quantity!

See you next time 😀
